Beautiful ornata. :)

Maybe it's just me being dumb, but I don't understand the measurement. How big is she? lol

Nice spiders and good luck. I think I read somewhere that the album "Obsecured by Clouds" comforts gravid females and tricks them into laying. ;):D

hey, the measuring tape is in inches, in that stance she is from approx. 6.5" mark to 13.5" mark. So an easy 7" and I'm sure in "pokie stance" 8" to 9" range.

haha that's a great Pink Floyd album, was listening to a few tracks earlier! Maybe I'll try it...

Thanks guys for the replies

Hey Hobo,
good luck with the GBB breeding. My female was very receptive every time I put the male in and left him there for an hour or 2. I witnessed many attempts at insertion and some that seemed to work. Then I put the male in a day or so later and noticed she didn't seem receptive but acted more like a cricket was in there. I thought "I'll take him out after I do the dishes" 15 minutes later there is the female eating the male...I should have taken him out...but it looks like she is getting fat so fingers are crossed.

^Unfortunately the border prevents that!
He has a female waiting for him fairly close by that he is going to this week. Hopefully it is a successful breeding!
Heres a gif of a H. incei grabbing a cricket.
