My little Poecilotheria ornata sling was out so not only did I manage to see the little rascal feed but I got some pics. Already stunning at such a small size.

Pokies are some of my favourite slings (well, a favourite genus, too). I love their fuzzy near-adult colours and impossible legginess. Great hunters, too.

For such a small tarantula she's extremely spirited.

Just so you know although she is basically mature, she can still reach 3" easy. Her mam was probably a little over 3.5" before she copped it. She was a big lass

Nope. She must have been kicking like an angry mule in transit.

Must admit I'd be nice if she got just a little bigger but if she stays this size I'll be happy enough. Just need her arse to turn black so her can put on see new clothes.
