Such an underrated sp. they are absolutely stunning, she looks like my MM - if i'd known we could have paired them, but he's long gone now, but he did mate with three lasses, all three had viable sacs - that was my contribution back to the hobby, I didn't want anything in return - just to see him happy, I received photos and updates, they were all gravid very quickly after the pairing - hope you're gonna breed this girl she's beautiful.
Did you actually just call a B smithi underated??

Yes I did, what of it? Huh, wanna go! (joke) No by underrated I meant that very few owners after owning certain species would go and actually trawl the classifieds, all the spider shops etc. to get a B. smithi, I would without question, my MM ended up being one of the fastest growing and largest Brachys I've ever had, as my post said they're stunning, read the whole post then you'll get that I didn't call them out as being underrated.

That's true. I'd pay 30 bucks tops for a female juvi.
I just thought it was funny. B smithi? Underated ?

No, it's just so many keepers just dismiss the thought, without even looking at uploads of them, especially their Feeding Response - phenomenal!, Colouration - amazing!, Size - rather large! I'm with you on this stunner, they're an awesome species.

Well I must say for "just learning" the photos are great!
Thank you.

I do have to say I take quite a few pics. Digital cameras just allow you to instantly see the pics and delete the naff ones.

Plus it allows you to alter the shutter speed, iso etcetera to get the right pic.
