give it time, if its showing signs of illness, put her in an ICU. otherwise, let nature take its course
Why icu, can you explain why? An icu wont cure any illness and should only be used in rare cases of severe dehydration. To put a specie from a dry habitat into a superwet and unfamiliar habitat will do more bad than good.

I wonder how many users of this board have killed their "ill" spiders will an icu:wall:

Besides from that, Brachypelma boehmei are extreme hair kickers and she might have kicked hair or have rubbed them off against something in her enclosure.

That tarantula is ok.;) It has been releasing urticating hairs, and some setae remained trapped between other sorrounding setae. That gives it a strange looking, but is all fine. If you are worried, you can grab the T (immovilizing it) and kindly remove the extra setae with a brush.

Thanks for everyone's help and opinions.
I know I need to put more substrate in there. I had her for a year before she seemingly randomly began climbing up to the ceiling. But I intend to add more pretty soon here.
The spot actually looks to be a little bit smaller to me now... I tried taking more pictures, but I don't have anything but my phone to take pictures with, so they're still pretty bad. I'll still post, though.
She's acting normal still, so I guess I'll just wait and see what happens when she molts.
Again, thanks everyone!

Okay, thanks very much! :) I hope you're right.

The latest pics give a better view of exactly where the patch is. I concur that it looks like she has been flicking chunks of hair. In the first pics I thought it looked like the patch was higher up on her abdomen, which seemed like an odd place to be flicking hairs from when the more usual areas seemed unscathed.

Whens the last time it molted? I have and E. Murinus that molted and now has a scab on the abdomen but on the underside that looks something like that. It wasnt there before but probably injured itself at some point. It healed on top but the inside didnt aaaaand yeah.

In all honesty, your Brachy looks like mine when she kicks :D they get such a hair-ball going on that it looks like white peach fuzz stuck to their bum. It never hurts to be careful, though, but it really does look like all hair to me.
