All this time, we thought you were loyal to us. ;)

I'll have to wait till after work. The company firewall is blocking it. There used to be a Peregrine Falcon cam up in one of the "skyscrapers" here in my hometown. I don't know if it's still active or not.

Ooo I didn’t know birds would do that. Eagles are very large too!
Yep. We get it. They're just protecting their turf. One time I couldn't come in for a landing, because a dog was chasing my plane. The plane's battery was running low. The dog's owner thought it was very amusing.

That’s when you fly the planes into the human animals

Awesome!!!!!!

We have a live feed cam at the DNR facility close to me. Winter is eagle watching time along the bluffs of the Illinois River.

They are magnificent animals to witness in-person. Their nest construction is a marvel as well.

Eagles came very close to extinction in CA from the thousands of barrels of DDT dumped in the ocean off Catalina up until the early 70’s. In ‘21 they found 25,000 barrels on the ocean floor. Anyone want to go to the beach and have a swim?

Yes DDT infecting the fish that the eagles eat is what killed off a lot of them. Had that issue here with the great rivers. I went on an eagle watch hosted by the DNR. Before we left we had an orientation and this was a topic the DNR official taught us.

The downside to banning DDT is that now all the hotels are infested with bed bugs.

It caused egg shell thinning. The eggs would break easily.
And crumple. I saw a video of two caved in when mom laid down on them. So sad.

Bring a little DE with you when you go to one. Hotel may think you had a party up there when you leave.
