Ok, now that I've settled things with my soon-to-molt B. Smithi Sling, Ive decided its time to find me a new T for my collection. This will be my third tarantula and I want one that will be good to hold and a little easy on my wallet. So what will it be?

OK here it goes! There were a camp of soldiers in the desert one day and their base was surrounded by the enemy. Well the man in charge of the soldiers comes in and tells them that he has good news and bad news. Well obviously the soldiers want the bad news first:

"Well, the enemy has surrounded us and we've run out of food so we'll have to eat camel crap from now on..."

"The good news is... We have plenty of it!"{D  :D ;P

I'll vote for the L. parahybana. They grow FAST, and have a great appetite, so they are fun to watch. I got one as a surprise freebie and I've been enjoying it so far. It was just under 1/2 inch when I got it a bit over 1 month ago, and now its already nearing 1 inch (molted once, and is already starting to look a bit darker again! I'm only feeding once a week, so its not even because of powerfeeding, it's just that way). Parahybana slings also seem to be fairly inexpensive, so thats the easy on the wallet part.

If you are willing to spend more, then I'd have voted for the pulchra. Thats on my "must get eventually" list. They are just absolutely gorgeous Ts. But they do cost a bit more than others, so didn't quite fit your description of what you are looking for.

Of course, you could always order a few different slings and have fun with them all! :D

Have fun with whatever T you decide on!
