There is no water dish in that enclosure, something I definitely do not recommend, infact I would advise against it. Always have a water dish for Avics. They’re pretty cute lol
They’re pretty high humidity beasts, yes? There is no water dish in that enclosure, something I definitely do not recommend, infact I would advise against it. Always have a water dish for Avics.
Nope you don't want it that humid, that enclosure is now updated with a water dish, and it's kept on dry substrate. They’re pretty high humidity beasts, yes?
I only use cocofibre. If it's a burrower I will mix some top soil in with it to make it a bit more rigid that's it.I’m literally thinking about buying an A. Jurensis M2 sling right now lol
When I rehouse my Parahybana what’s the best substrate to n use? I’m going to add sphagnum moss and lead litter but I’m curious about what you use? I’m currently using exoterra terrarium soil bricks that you have to mix. When I mix them I mix them a little on the drier side too, and they’ve been slowly drying out throughout the terrarium and I don’t see any signs of mold
Cool beans, I’m gonna be grabbing an A. Jurensis sling next Friday I thinkI only use cocofibre. If it's a burrower I will mix some top soil in with it to make it a bit more rigid that's it.
Go with the setup @Ratmosphere has provided and you can't go wrong.Cool beans, I’m gonna be grabbing an A. Jurensis sling next Friday I think
There is a shop that works with Canadian breeders here in Edmonton, and they actually sell sling starter kits, you get a little 2x2x4, a little bit of sub, some moss, a little piece of cork and a little plant for starting arboreal slings for less than 20. So roughly 90$ gets me my sling and my setup. It’s 1/4-1/2”Go with the setup @Ratmosphere has provided and you can't go wrong.
You will still be able to do a similar thing with the set-up you're buying. There is a shop that works with Canadian breeders here in Edmonton, and they actually sell sling starter kits, you get a little 2x2x4, a little bit of sub, some moss, a little piece of cork and a little plant for starting arboreal slings for less than 20.
