this is my second post i had a question and im seeing mixed answers online nothing solid so hopefully someone can set the record straight for me my sp white legs i got from spider shoppe has half of her antenna missing maby a tiny bit over 50% of it is left shes maby 4 or 3 inches long and def still a baby i was wondering if they grow back the antenna eventually with molting? some say it will grow back others it wont and some say it will only grow some of it back im assuming since she is so young by the time she is an adult it will be fully grown back but i could be wrong.... they refunded me half of what i payed but honestly im still angry and disappointed i didnt really pay for an injury and the container was too small that it was sent in i just wanted a nice and clean specimen.I was told by them it should fully grow back but i have no idea other than that shes eating fine and acting norma hopefully someone can answer.

THANKS!

you may want to take out the company name from that post, it is against the forum rules to use it here

you can always write a review in their classifieds section

i understand the anger but refunding half for a damaged antennae sounds pretty good to me. just my opinion. considering the price of these that should be quite a chunk of change.

they always pack them as tight as possible into some moss since any sudden shocks would otherwise send it flying resulting in possibly worse injuries, it sucks that it happend.
they are defenitly more fragile to ship when compared to tarantulas.

make sure you keep it well and allow it to heal over that injury first and formost

not sure about the regrowth, i'll let someone else answer that

edit: any pictures to see how bad the damage is?

they refunded me half of what i payed

I was told by them it should fully grow back
Seems like a fair offer to me, half price for an otherwise Healthy Scolopendra.
I've always had a Soft Spot for Creatures with Disabilities and often prefer them over "Perfect Beings"
Injuries often result in giving the Recipient what I call ' Character ' Traits
(Overcome / Persevere)

by the way if you double post, you should edit the second one, deleting the contents except for a dot "." or small "d" for delete

if it takes you longer than 24h to notice you wont be able to edit it anymore, so you can tell one of the mods about it and ask them to delete it directly

it looks pretty good despite everything
