I have a small pond in my backyard that I stocked with 2 small fantail goldfish and some tadpoles this Spring. About two weeks ago I was checking up on the pond and saw a few tiny specks wiggling around. I thought it was mosquito larvae so I scooped out a few, and to my surprise they were goldfish fry! I brought two of the little babies inside and put them in a 2.5g tank with water from the pond, some algae, and some snails. One of the babies sadly died within two days (wasn't eating), but the other one has lasted two weeks and has been thriving! Here's a picture of the little goldfish picking at some algae:
