So, what do you do when the springtails numbers explode? I have some bumblebee millipedes with lots of babies and the springtails are quite populous. Is there a way to reduce them without bothering tiny pedelings?Oh yeah, springtails are just fine, it's isopods you gotta watch out for.
That's a problem I haven't quite figured out yet... In some enclosures where they got too numerous I've had to take the roaches out and sterilize the whole enclosure to kill the springtails off, as they started stressing the roaches out with constant tactile contact. IMO using cleanup crews can be risky, and in some cases they are more trouble than they are worth.So, what do you do when the springtails numbers explode?
