Did someone noticed some of them biting ootheca and/or moving it around the enclosure? I have witnessed it many times and there were involved also some nymphs and adults, so my question is why are they doing that and are they sometimes eating ootheca and ruining it or not? I give them plenty of protein food and everyday I give them some greens or fruit, so I suppose it is not related to lack of food.

Thanks in advance!

I noticed they same thing few months ago, I thought the oothecas had just been kicking around, but it was not.

They love to move the oothecas right on the food dish, when I found them, I used to move them back to the substrate, and on the next day, they moved another one on there, I don't know if it was the same one, but I think they bring oothecas that are almost going to be hatched to the food dish, becuase I find always some empty oothecas on the food dish.
