B. Klaasi care compared to other Brachypelmas

I just got a b. Klaasi sling, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of information specifically about them. Is it okay to go with the care recommendations for the more common brachys? I'm keeping mine in the deli cup it came in (it's on coco fiber substrate, and has a small hide) until my sling habitat arrives, and I was wondering about the optimal humidity and the best way to maintain it.

Humidity doesn't matter.

All the Brachys can be kept the same

don’t need to chase humidity values unless you want to kill your T

Congrats! I LOVE my Klaasi. I was concerned about lack of info too when I got mine a few months ago, but it has molted for me 2x now. Like others are saying no special needs, mine (~2” now) really enjoys hiding in foliage, or laying on top of leaves like a hammock. Has a small water dish and a tiny plant propagation in there that I water very lightly like once a week. Totally eats like a pig and a joy to care for/observe.

All New World terrestrial species basically have the same care as slings, keep them in a small deli/condiment cup on slightly moist substrate (yes, even the arid species as they are still prone to desiccation at this stage), and feed every 3-5 days (faster growing species) or 7-10 days (slower growing species).

B. klaasi have the same care requirements as any other Brachy, you can keep them as above until they reach 1.5" - 2" then keep on dry sub with a water dish.

I have adult, or near adult, females of all Brachypelma species (except B. albiceps and B. baumgarteni) and I can say with confidence that they are all pretty much the same in care requirements and disposition. The care of B. hamorii adults and spiderlings, for example, can be equally applied to B. klassi as well.
