I will be posting a pic of where I keep 16 females 4 males here in a minute, waiting for my brother to upload them :) :) :)

edit: I also have several other cages with single pairs or like 1 male 3 females to get some ideas on their gestation times...if you want to see those let me know :)

Ya i would love to see your setup !! and your communal setup would be cool to see also. And by the way how much for a guaranteed gravid female?

Hey Tabor. What substrate do you use? because it looks real dry... and what i use currently is 100% coco fibre. It gets a bit moldy and i was wondering if i could replace it with what you got! Thanks

if it gets moldy that means its too humid with not enough ventilation. either get some more ventilation or let some isopods go into the tank..they'll help clean up.

What Lokal said, I keep B jacksoni on dry coco fiber with an RH of 73%

As seen in pic 1 that is my breeding tank. i wet the moss leading to the log and it keeps the log extra moist but no mold :)

Alot of people so far have said that these guys aren't that venomous and a few have suggested them as a beguiner species. Yet Botar's site says somthing like "Considered medically significant, no sales to minors or beguiners." Whats the deal? I've always admired this species, but never thought I'd own them (at least for a while) cause of there vemon. Are they really that pottent? Thanks ~ Rex

There is like one report on the internet of them being medically significant. Everyone who keeps them and those who have been stung by them usually rank them a 2.5 or 3/5.

Not medically significant in mine and many others opinion.
