b.emilia or b.klaasi

firstly guys... hello, im new here and im soon to be the proud owner of my first T.. a gorgeous salmon pink, arriving next week.
my query tho is about my next pet T. im having a debate with my partner about colour forms of b.emilia and b.klaasi. first i saw a b.klaasi, (or mexican pink i think) and i wanted one, theyre gorgeous but as im getting a pzb on saturday i thought naa.... i dont want another pink spider so i carried on browsing and i came across a b.emilia. it was almost the same as a mexican pink but it had blonde hair instead of pink. a bit more investigating and found out that they are actually two different spiders. i originally thought the mexican pink came as a mexican blonde aswell. now i know its a b.emilia. what i want to know is, am i right in saying that the b.emilia is black with the triangle on its carapece and blonde hairy legs or is my partner right that its actually the mexican pink but it has been photoshopped?
any help is much appreciated guys and thanks for your time.

B. emilia is the triangle one. You can do a google image search to verify...don't think someone could photoshop every one of those photos.

Nada has brilliant pics of each, thair is quite a few brachypelma and the other best ones are B,smithi, B,vagans, thay are similar in attitudes but different patterns, well attitude in T's is individual for each of them, as a species brachypelma are slow growing in general although that depends on feeding/heating etc, even then it's slow lol, i have two salmon pink bird eaters aka (LP) i love them they are one of my best ever T's.

Of the two, I say get a klaasi. I love them.

i searched google, you tube and wikipets. all had the b.emilia but it had bright blonde hair. the pics below look orange..? could it be that the pics are just in a different light and that there isnt actually a blonde haired one..?

I've never seen a blonde Emilia. the common name is the Mexican red leg
Here's a large adult in need of a molt. Not blonde, but her colors aren't nearly as bright...

that's a young klaasi and an Emilia. I think the colors are just a bit washed out on the Emilia.

Look at the aphonopelma chalcodes or aphonopelma paysoni for a blonde legged nw/terrestrial tarantula

well out of the two, i prefer the emilia in looks but i do want to be able to see it so which one makes the better display pet and wont hide away all the time??

They're pretty much the same in those regards. Main difference is that Klaasi is much more expensive.

Agreed. Cheaper alternative than either and really cool, docile tarantulas.

It sounds like you might be interested in an Aphonopelma moderatum. They're a blonde new world terrestrial with some similarities in appearance to the B emilia, including the triangle (although it is much less prominent)

B. boehmei IMO are the best looking in the genus next to B. auratum.

Post up some things you're looking for in your next purchase, size, temperament, colourations etc and we can chime in with some ideas suitable for you.

Very similar to brachypelmas from the reading that I've done. Size of about 5-6inches. Most specimens will be docile and some might be partial to kicking hairs but there is a chance you might end up with a very skittish or defensive T as with any T there are always going to be individual differences in temperment. Just the other day I heard from a guy that he had a G.rosea that was very very handleable and an H.maculata that he handled often aswell. Now obviously I would never suggest handling an H.mac but apparently this guy had one that never ended up biting him or his daughter who handled it too.(Yes, I cringed just as you just did)

Husbandry wise you'd treat them the same as a brachypelma. A hide, waterdish and bone dry substrate with regular room temperatures.

Agreed. Both should be more common in the hobby. Emilia and smithi aren't too shabby either.
