Been trying to figure out the whys and wherefores of the OP's situation. Makes enough sense dehydration was the cause of death, corpse in a death curl on dried up substrate, between the forks of the branch, opposite the tank end with the water dish. And I guess the water dish was insufficient to humidify the tank, especially if top ventilation was high and room air was dry. But for the life of me, I can't remember the last time I've seen a sizable Avicularia web like that, building in the ground, mixing web with debris. To me it looks more like what Psalmopoeus, Tapinauchenius, or Iridopelma might construct. Was there a bright hot light it was shunning, thus staying on the ground? Also, where is the plywood corner in the tank? Well, I guess, live and learn, better luck next time. GL!

p.s. Oh, one more thing. Pink toes and those bristly radially oriented hairs on the legs. My first thought was Psalmopoeus or Tapinauchenius. OP, it may be a long shot, but FOI (for our information, xD), was this for sure an Avic? Cheers!
