Molts are usually closest I get to measuring a t unless it goes into stretching mode. So say a molt is 7” and the t got bigger and in that case the molt is smaller than the t. At 7.5”…
How much would you subtract from a molt to make it realistic?
I’d say .5” is fair.

Oh sweet.

I guess I'll just tiptoe and call myself 6' instead of 5'11" since we are doing US measurements! 😏

I've got a friend who's m6 is really close to six if not hitting it already. Not sure when he purchased it but I for sure know he has had it the past five years.
