Hello,
previously I’ve bought a pink toe tarantula and for the first few days it was good. He ate a cricket or two and loved crawling all over his cage at night. Recently, for about 2-3 days now he created a web and hasn’t moved from the web since. I tried blowing on him and he does move alittle. He hasn’t tried to crawl around the cage or anything. Is this normal or is he pre-molting or dying? Thanks for the help guys :((

Can you post pictures of the entire enclosure?

Tarantulas are known for their "pet rock" like care. It's not uncommon for a Tarantula to seemingly sit in the same place for days on end

Yes I knew that but I thought he’ll move around his enclosure alittle bit for water and just to wander. I was planning on adding more greens but didn’t wanna add stress at the moment. His new enclosure should be coming in the mail soon (since the mesh is bad for his claws and fangs)

There's nothing remarkable to mention there based on the above. Enjoy

I think it's just found a spot that it likes to hang out in.

Yes- all of my Avics eventually make a canopy..When, where- no one can predict. What makes you think it's not normal??
Just wondering cause before, he would wander around all night then go back to his web in the morning

You behave differently during your life, the same applies here. Enjoy

If it makes you feel a little more at ease, mine typically just chill in their web canopies and occasionally will come out and roam. It’s normal. What you don’t want to do is blow on the T, pretty sure they don’t appreciate it.
It’s hard, totally get it. Just got through my Minatrix holed up in his cork tube for three weeks and it’s hard to resist checking up on them when you worry.
And if I remember correctly you just got this T, it may still need time to adjust. And if you rehouse it that adjustment period starts all over.
