I have been raising 3 A. amazonica for about 2 years. They are all males and probably a molt or two away from being penultimate. There have been so many changes to the genus and I've read so many conflicting stories does anyone know what amazonica are considered now? I've heard variegata but I've also read that variegata are what once was bicegoi. I'd like to find a female for these boys. The picture is of one of my super freshly molted males.

Too bad you are from US, I would gladly buy one of your boys;) I am looking for male, so to avoid confusion I still use old name A. sp. amazonica Manaus. Most of ppl are not familiar with recent revisions.

It's A. variegata now, as far as I know. I know @xenesthis is looking for two mature males if you have any interest in trading or doing a breeding loan.

Thanks,

They are A. variegata

I will say this, the A. bicegoi I had in 2006 is nothing at all like the A. variegata that have been called bicegoi.

I haven't found anyone yet that can ID my Avic from that time. Never seen a single Avic like it again. When I make the time I'll post a few pics.

I would check with @CEC he has a confirmed female.
