IMG_1425.jpeg IMG_1427.jpeg IMG_1426.jpeg Hi everyone, I have ordered a beautiful millipede from thespidershop, and the name was said to be Spirostreptida sp. “Avatar”. I haven’t found anything called that before. Here are some pictures, can you help ID it?

I'm really interested to hear your experiences with it. THey certainly are beautiful. TSS certainly are a great source of interesting invertebrates but they are very poor at identifying stock and also at informing buyers about an animals characteristics and needs.

It seems to be active enough, it burrowed only for a few hours before it came back up, and you’re right, it is very beautiful.

More pictures if it helps
iNaturalist identified it as a bumblebee millipede, but it’s way too big

Has it continued to be quite surface-active ? In the daytime too ?

Yeah I'm really interested in finding out what it is too! I want one but I co-habitate my Millipedes so I like to do my research first. I called the shop up and they told me they were from the Indonesian/Malaysian shipment but they couldn't give me any more info.
