Great pic's!!! I have a ''glenelva'' Sling, and was wonderig about the moisture content of the substrate. Do they prefer damp or dry? Thanks for the pic;s-Later-Karl:?

hey Karl, the Glenelva you have is probably and most likley a selenotholus Gemfields, the same in my pic. they are an arid(desert) species and will prefer the substrate dry, but make sure you have a water dish with it, they will construct a deep burrow around 10cm if you allow them but in the wild they can construct ones around 2metres long. a slow growing species (probably 1 of the slowest in Australia) so it will take a while for them to molt. i understand Glenelvas get to around 8cm and Gemfields 14cm, they are both found in the same area thats why theres alot of confusion about these species.

hey man don't mean to sound like a tightass but selenocosmia dosen't belong to aussie T's anymore, its now phlogius. so you have a phlogius crassipes;) but nice choice they both get large them plumipes are beautiful with hairy hind legs
