Two females are mated.@Austin S. How is the E. pachypus breeding going?
Thanks, and good luck. Two females are mated.
Third female will be here tomorrow.
The females completely lose their appetite 100% after mating.
Very weird. So, both have not put on a lot of weight yet.
Yours too? One of mine eats, but the other won't touch food. Two females are mated.

Its good to know mine aren't the only ones. I don't get it?Yours too? One of mine eats, but the other won't touch food.
Same. I had been keeping them in similar conditions, but I decided to move one just to see if temperature would make a difference. I think they prefer cooler conditions, but I heated the eater up. I left the one refusing at low temperatures. They used to eat very well, even late in their molt cycles. Its good to know mine aren't the only ones. I don't get it?
I may have caught them eating one cricket after mating. But, they wont even eat those anymore. They are freshly molted also, so I know that's not the issue. No dubia, red runner, cricket or anything else will do the trick for them now.
Before mating, they had the feeding response like a 1 month post molt GBB lol.
Good luck on this... I'm going to do my best to get some slings if you or Thistles has success! Very cool project. Two females are mated.

One of my girls laid what could only very loosely be called a "sac." It was a total loss due to her crappy construction. Neither has molted, so there's still hope.
I am sorry to hear that, I hope you have a better chance next time. Maybe she knew the sac wasn't viable, so she didn't put too much care into the construction. One of my girls laid what could only very loosely be called a "sac."
