We have 2. Got them a few months ago. One about 5" the other 6". The bigger one is very active but both are docile so far. And both do not want to eat lately lol.

I just got my first personal G. rosea last Saturday. She is a rescue from a dumb kid who swore she was "too much care". She is five inches, and seems docile enough. I've yet to see any hair flicks or defensive poses, and she is very active which is a nice change from my H. lividum pet hole. I can feel safe removing her water dish with my bare hands even as she sits right beside it. But again I've only had her two days past a week, so time will tell. So far so good, and I enjoy having a spider I can see for once.

I have had my male ( 2.5 inches) since October. He has never flicked or posed until today when I was taking his molted cast out of his enclosure. He showed his fangs and the hair on the back of my neck stood up. I can't blame him though since he is only 4 days past a molt. I don't handle him, but he lets me mess around with his house and could not care less.

We have several. The first T we bought for our daughter when she was five was a G. rosea. Now that E is 17 she still has that spider, Fluffy. She has never shown any aggression whatsoever to anyone. When she was guarding her eggsac she was defensive to other people and hid her eggsac if anyone entered the room. However if my daughter or I were in the room, she would literally show off the sac. Fluffy is also very gentle with males, showing virgin males exactly what they need to do.

Fluffy's daughter, Alex, is equally gentle with people, but not quite mature enough to breed. Our other G. roseas have also been very gentle.

My first T was a large female that I had from 2006 to 1010, but gave to a friend some months ago before my move across the country. She was (and probably still is) a completely docile pet rock. A few months after I got her, I realized she was gravid when she made a sac -- which I gave to an entomologist I knew through my job, since I didn't feel comfortable trying to care for it. From what I hear, it was fertile, and several of my old coworkers ended up with her babies.

I'll be getting another within the next few days, an adult female RCF. Curious to see whether she'll have a similar temperament to my Ruby, or be more defensive/skittish.

Mr Satu got one a month or so ago -- she (ventrally sexed but not confirmed by moult yet) is about 4.5" and rather defensive. She'll pounce on anything that's moving in her cage, so maybe that's just a food response; we've not poked her with a stick to find out! Certainly far from a pet rock, though.

I recently got into the hobby. A co-worker started talking to me about Ts and let me borrow his keepers guide. i decided to buy some from him. He sold me two small females. Both had been docile enough to handle. one is a lil skiddish but wont go into threat pose or anything. The other was the calmer of the two, but i recently lost her to DKS  I've had them for 4 months now. They burrowed into their substrate and would also just be out sitting. So for me my rosies have been happy calm Ts

I have one adult female and a RCF sling. Had the two for a few months now.

The adult female is confusing... mostly skittish and will allow the occasional handling (usually on her own terms, because she loves to find her way out of the cage while I am working on it). I have never seen her flick hairs at me, but she threw up a random threat posture once and I have never tried to handle her since. I feel like she is unpredictable because of her skittish nature. Also, she's a terrible hunter. She almost always misjudges where the food is an misses it, sometimes multiple times, before finally catching it. She's been living with a superworm beetle for at least a month now... o_O I just leave it in there since they don't seem to bother each other.

The RCF sling is a crazy hair flicker, but is only about 1" long right now. I have had it for several molts and it's always been that way. I hope it stops once it starts to reach an adult size. Great eater and always active.

I have three Roseas.

#1: Adult Female about 4.5". I think she was wild caught, as she is pretty much a garbage disposal when it comes to food. She is semi-docile. I have handled her a few times successfully, but I have to be careful when I pick her up. She will attack my tongs when I try to move her before picking her up. Once she realized that it's not food, she calms down.

#2: 1" RCF. Like most slings, it is skittish. Never been held, but I've never had a threat posture. Great eater.

#3: .75" sling. Pretty much the same as the RCF. Doesn't do much. Both slings just sit on the wall of their vial and will run around when they are disturbed.

I have 1 rosie, named jessica. She is really laid back and has never threatened to strike me, not once. She is about 4-5" in size. She molted last month actually.

I've had my G. rosea, Yoshi, for seven years. She's always been extremely docile, and I don't recall her flicking hairs at me even once. I got her when I was twelve, and handled her more initially, (I haven't handled her for a long time) but she has always been really calm and sweet. She's a small rosea, at 4".

I have two beautiful rosies.

The first one I got about 14 months ago, Brigitte, she is about 4 inches or so DLS. She started off very docile, and I could hold her whenever I wanted. Due to an accident where I dropped her (she fell around 3-4 inches onto a balled up blanket) I stopped handling her at all. She then became very defensive of her enclosure whenever she knew I was in it. She has given me threat poses for simply touching fake flowers. I would say she is defensive now, but not psycho.

The second one, Rosalie, I got about 12 months ago. She was around 5 inches DLS, and she has molted once in my care so she is now around the 5.5 inch mark. This girl was almost the complete opposite of my other. She tends to be more on the nervous/shy side so I have handled her only once. She doesn't get as territorial about her enclosure as my other either, and has never tried to bite that I can recall. The only threat I ever got from her was when I was trying to push a cricket in her direction. She gave me such a threat pose she fell right over onto her side...and stayed like that. It made me laugh. I would say she is absolutely docile.

I have 1 adult female, who is very docile and "friendly." One of the ones you'd swear liked to be held, although I don't hold her often. The people I got her from always held her. I also have three 2 and 1/2+ inchers. 1.1.1 and all 3 of them are pretty defensive. I've had all 3 of them since they were less than a quarter inch in size. Funny that all 3 of them seem to be quite unfriendly. Oh well.

I have had only one, and I love her dearly.
she is about four inches.
I would describe her is beautifully docile, and when she has a bad day, she just waddles into her hide. I've only seen her attack crickets.
