Received some males the other day!

Here is the MM that will attempt to mate with 'el diablo', lol.
Freshly matured male.

I was curious as to what would happen if I put 'el's' recent molt in with him...

Looks like it triggered something! He was a tapping machine!

Here he is in her tank. She has been laying A LOT of webbing down lately for some reason out side her burrow.

A little closer... right when he was at this spot, he began shaking heavily and you could actually here the female at the bottom of her burrow vilently tapping back!

instead of him breaking the thick silk cover, she did!! And burst right out

He did the job too. I couldnt get a picture, will try next time. But after this last picture, I dropped a little lower so I could see if it was going to be a good insersion and he inserted one and she threw him back about 8". Fingers crossed!!!

Thanks guys! She def. dwarfs him. She is pushing a little over 9" now after that last molt. I have another female that i will try him with in a couple days as well, so keep an eye out!

Well saw the remains of a sperm web this morning!

Gettin him warmed up

Everything seems to be going good

Couldnt get to him in time.

Three successful insersions with this female, after three fresh sperm webs. Time will only tell..

Hopefully he made some good inserts before meeting his doom. My guy hasn't made any webs in some time, but I have him sharked in with my big female. So far she has been holed up for about a week. Going to power feed her and let him loose this week.

Oh yeah, making plans to be at the Oklahoma show in June. Hope to meet up with some board folks.

Austin, I love your patience and effort with breeding this species. I honestly wish you the best of luck with your girl. I hope she lays you a nice fat sac and you get hundreds healthy slings.

Seriously man, this is in my top 3 of my favorite species.
