For context, I’ve kept my only Asian forest scorpion around four years ago (he was an adult when I got him so I only had him for a year and a half). When I researched how to care for them it was never mentioned to give them any heating source. Now I’m gonna receive a subadult one in a couple of days, and while reading around I’ve seen people mention giving these scorpions some form of heating, while other people don’t. What would you say is the ideal temperature for this beautiful creatures?
(My room stays at a minimum of 21/22 degrees Celsius all year around)

In my opinion, around 24-30⁰C (during the day) is ideal, but you're right that some people choose to keep them on room temperature.

If you have a definite constant room temperature then that should be ok.
However as Joey says 24+ C is a preferred temperature.

I personally don't like the term " room temperature " - cold nights, warm days too many variables, almost all tropical species need constant temperature with very little variation.

Providing a warm side with a cooler part in the enclosure enables the creature to choose accordingly and also helps eliminate molting issues.

What would you say it’s the best way to heat the tank?

Depending on what I've read and averaging all the figures the median yearly 24/7 air temperature is 24-26 C, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam and Burma. 26-28 Malaysia and 28-30 Singapore. This can swing +/- 2 to 4 degrees depending on altitude and weather mediating factors; India Ocean, Gulf of Thailand, South China sea and Chinese-Siberian air flows.

Depends on what you are looking for. Room temp is fine of adults but slings grow better with higher temps (like most) I usually keep my slings at around 80 to 83°F. They grow fast. I have some that were birthed in early August last year. They are huge. Not sure what instar.
