Hello I just got my asian forest scorpion however i’m having some heating and lighting issues. I got an LED light for day time so he has a day and night cycle however I don’t think that he likes it. He just sits in the corner when I turned it off he got up and just moved to another corner. I’m considering getting a red heat light that leads to my next issue. His tank is sitting at 67 degrees because I do live in basement. This includes a heat mat on one side of enclosure attached to back. Can anyone give me advice on what to get so I have a steady set up for day and night for my scorpion

well, that would depend on how much light the enclosure gets. if there is light in the enclosure during the day, it works.

There is no light for the enclosure during day as it’s in my room in basement therefore reason I got the LED light

Also is 67 degrees F an okay temp for the cool side of tank he does tend to be hanging out more on side with heat pad I’m guessing that side will be around 68-70

Tank needs an ambient temp of around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. I’d ditch the pad ad use a ceramic heat emitter if you’re having issues keeping heat

I agree with @Poonjab I would also ditch the heat pad and use a different source for heat...

I feel like the heat emitter gives off too much heat i’m considering getting another heat pad to place around the corner of the other one. He currently is just laying on glass against heat pad

You can put the ceramic heat emitter on a thermostat or dimmer (if it’s dimmable). Or you can use a halogen bulb of a lower wattage.
Heat pads don’t do much, unless there is very little ventilation. Otherwise the heat just escapes. They heat the surface, not the air.

A ceramic heat emitter or "infrared" heat bulb will work better than any heat mat. If you're worried about it getting too hot you probably have too high of a wattage, but you can easily adjust it via a dimmer or simply moving the heat lamp farther away from the enclosure.
