Im going to be ordering one or two Hogna miami from Tom Patterson and am wondering if they are found in Massachusetts. If I end up getting a male and female I would love to attempt breeding them but I don’t think I could handle dozens and dozens of slings. Id probably keep 4-8 of them and let the rest go. If they aren’t found in Mass then I don’t want to be introducing them to an environment that they don’t already inhabit and I wouldnt attempt breeding. Ive kept wolf spiders before and usually find gravid females which have egg sacs a few weeks after I start keeping them. I tend to keep a few slings once they leave the mother and release the rest in the woods. I also have the same question for kukulcania hibernalis which I plan to order 2 of as well.
