I just wanted to get some opinions on this. I have some leftover wax worms lying around that I would like to feed my spiders and I just want to make sure that they are safe. Does anyone on here use their baits as feeders?

As per their FAQ:

"Can DMF Bait be used as pet food?
DMF Bait is very nutritious and healthy as pet food. Please review each product description specifically to see if it may fit your need. Also (very important), please verify with your pet supplier and/or your vet to ensure no harm will come to your pet."

This leads me to believe they use no pesticides or coatings or whatnot on their bait, so it is most likely safe....that being said, I would however err on the side of caution and send them an e-mail to confirm that these are in fact chemical free. Hope that helps!

No, I've never used fish bait to feed tarantulas. It was kind of the other way around. I used to breed waxworms a lot for my critters so the last time we took a trip to Clear Lake, I took part of the waxworm colony with me. The bluegill loved them!
