How big are we talking here? I use 32 oz tall deli containers for juvies up to 2.5 inches, for adults I pick up tall aquariums. Other people have had great success with Sterlite containers (not sure if you have those in the UK) and old food containers.

Sterelite or something similar to that. A quick google search can show you what we mean. I'm SURE there is a similar product in the UK.
Maybe check for things like "self locking storage container" or "plastic filing box" or "plastic storage bin"
I prefer the clear ones myself, but they are really the bomb in keeping a collection. Very easy to store, come in all shapes and sizes for your T, easy to make vent holes in them, and all (at least all of mine) self lock, preventing even the best little escape artists (;;;;

I'm not a fan of jamies as there is not enough ventilation for something like avics (who really need it) and you can make your own better and way cheaper ones. I've tried one from jamies but it just didn't function how I wanted to, so I gave up and grabbed a 30 cent deli container.

if you have Walmart out there they have good size plastic containers.

Don't get anything that bottle necks because you don't want your pokie shooting out directly at you if she gets spooked.

"Moriko", (Psalmopoeus cambridgei) home (30x30x30cm WxDxH):

Phaedra's (Psalmopoeus irminia) home (30x30x40cm WxDxH):

Future home of my female P. miranda

Just as examples, you don't have to go down my route. The Poecilotheria miranda cage has a top opening which makes it easier to deal with any maintenance once she gets housed in that one, I figured.
