Arboreal pulchripes?

Ok, major confuzzlment here. My pulchripes is apx. 1.5" big, and the species is supposed to be terrestrial, but this little one never gets off the side of it's deli cup. It's on about 4 inches of coir, and two inches of air above that. It will touch the ground long enough to dig and put a landscaping crewto shame, then retreat to the sides again. Temp is good, no mites, has water but isn't soaked WTH?

You said the substrate is wet? That's probably why.

I said has water, the substrate itself is dry. The only damp area is right around the water dish from droplet spillover

Sounds like he's not liking the subsrate. Have you recently switched to another product? What's the temp?, maybe it gets the tempature it needs to be by hanging out on the wall. Check the temp of your substrate, could be too cold or vice versa.
