Arboreal enclosure idea...

Hey guys,

So, after a trip to Petsmart for some cat food, I noticed these cool little 2.5G aquariums that Aqueon makes. I had the idea to turn them into an arboreal setup, but I have a problem. my plan was to cut the class top, glue the small part of it to the bottom to hold the substrate, and make a hinged door from the rest. I only have one problem though: how would I hinge the door? I also thought about making it a sliding door that moves up and down to close it.

Thoughts?

Buy small acrylic or metal hinges that many hardware stores sell and glue that on if you want a fold down top. You'd have to use 2 pieces with a small gap between them, but it would work well.
