For some reason I'm really getting into the American Aphonopelmas that are not very common. They really interest me.

I always got a kick out of my "Carlsbad Green" , Not sure why. Maybe cuase it was the first T that I saw in the wild. Here's a pic of a fresh molted female.

Nice. It looks like it's legs are a little too short for it's body. What's the leg span and how long did it take to get that size? Thanks for adding to the post. I'm very interested in Aphonos.

Its about 4 inches. I have no clue how old it is since I dug it out of the ground 4-5 years ago.;)

Thanks. That's a nice looking T. If I get a male out of this. (in a decade or so. lol) I'll let you know. Maybe we can do a 50/50.
