both kept at 75*F. i've been trying and trying and trying to get these two to mate for a month now, and FINALLY they mated. female was irritated, and clamped down on one foot of the leggy male, but this didn't deter him from finishing what he started. after he began to let go, female made a charge for him, but i blocked her and the male escaped with only a slightly munched on Tarsus and metatarsus. he has stopped bleeding and is eating now. The female was on a fresh molt, so that increases my chances, however i just hope the male wasn't "shooting blanks" because he is now over 1 month after maturing molt...
good insertions, mating process lasted about 5 mins total.
i will post pics of them mating soon.
i will try mating them again, and hope that the female doesn't get him this time.
