Hey all, i am hoping somebody might be able to enlighten me a bit.

Somebody asked me recently if i could find A. burica, and i mistakenly made a mental cross with A. crinirufum. After realizing i was remembering the wrong name, i did a quick search of both, and found they both have the same common name (presumably how i got them mixed up)

Anyway, to the point, what are the differences between the two (pictures welcome) I checked the WSC to make sure they aren't synonymous (scientifically) and indeed they are both accepted species.

All help/information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have not kept these but as Tom explains on a fb post asking the same question, he believes both the Blue Front "burica" and "crinirufum" sold in the hobby are the same species wrongfully sold under those two names. They maybe classified under Citharacanthus in a coming revision.
