having trouble finding care info on this spider.
i assume its a desert scrub land type kinda like a brachy?
would care / housing/ moisture needs / etc.. be similar?

bone dry substrate , they seem to prefer peat to coco fiber...not sure why.
water dish and a clay pot hide and your set.
they seem to rather use the clay pot than burrow .

Actually I think I remember Spider Bob (R. G. Breene) reporting them extremely common in golf courses in southern Texas. Hardly "desert scrub."

This points up not only this species' adaptability, but also a presumed possible tolerance for pesticides and fertilizers, at least in one population of them.

Fore! OhmiGod! It has 8 legs!
