Anyone know what species this is?

Found this guy curled up in my kitchen looking a little mangled. You can see his colors somewhat in this picture.

After being in an ICU for a few hours he's looking a lot better.

Anyone have any ideas on what which species it is? I'm in Southern Ohio. Thanks!
