They're slippery... they're fast.. and even adults have no determining factors... umm lumps or bumps, goolies, 'penes and that..

so?

I haven't tried a loupe just yet... didn't have it handy with me when I was at the store. Are there any pores to see?

Anyone know?

Thanks!

Okay... so after translating many sites and reading loooooooooooooong pdf's to find the specifics...

umm, yeah...

Males tail bases are thicker?

Someone's head is larger... but whose?

Females are generally larger?

Females have larger/longer space between appendages?

...does any of this sound remotely close to dimorphism in Occelated Skinks?

Here's a website with a tiny bit of info. Basically its saying that the males have the eyed pattern on their back as well as their head being larger. Most of the pdfs I found were about the sex hormones and behavior instead of the evidence of sexual dimorphism.

I believe the males have darker markings on the faces in comparison to females.
