I used to have 15 tanks set up with various mean fish, now I all I have left is one 55 gallon tank, but it has some true gems in it. My favorites are my Pseudodoras niger (Turashukin Catfish), Semiprochilodus insignus (Flag-tailed Prochilodus), Distichodus affinis (Noble Distichodus). I will take some pics after Xmas when I get my digital cam.

Great fish!
You won't be able to keep that for very long unless you have a huge tank.

You wouldn't happen to live down in Florida would you?

I have a huge 240,there is currently a 2' alligator gar in it.
I live in Jackson,Ms.
I caught my gar in the St.catherine creek NWR.(in Natchez,Ms.)
They are every where during spring!
That is when the water is high.

I figured I'd add a few pics of my newly aquired cichlids....had them in their tank for about two weeks now, and everyone seems to actually get along as well as cichlids can. First is my little auratus cichlid:

I thought I'd really like fishkeeping, but it turns out I like my arachnids better. Right now I have hatchetfish and red-eye tetras in a 29 gallon tank. They'll be my last fish and I'll turn the tank in an uber-spider dwelling.

Here's some of the aquatic critters I've had:
