Any gatherings or tarantlua clubs in Austin texas

Hello. i just moved from ohio. to Austin texas and wondering if there is any gatherings or so.. or if not i like to set one up so all of us can get to geather and talk about arachnids and bugs and go collecting...

Well, I don't know if there are any groups in Austin that meet, but I do know there is a good group of T/scorp people that live in and around the Austin area...
I'm in the Dallas area but am down in Austin frequently doing my field research...so, if anyone from Austin is interested in getting out in the field and doing some work with tarantulas, let me know, you can come help...

I live in Austin and keep a bunch of inverts...mainly roaches but some T's, funnelweb spiders, and a few scorps...lots of herps....
