When you go in there, theres no way you leave with just one. Its like a bag of crisps.

I mean, all those deli cups, on the counter. There was a b albiceps, about to pop it was so juicy and cute. I had to ask them to hide it because i was going to add it to my bill 😱😭
Martin, the owner, literally started to hide things from me, a couple of imports ago.

Every import, he sends me a list of everything that has arrived before the website is even updated. When I went to the shop to pick up my orders, I was looking for a trapdoor spider that was on the list. Searched their stockroom and didn't find it. The next time we met up, I asked him where the spider was and he told me "Oh I hid it from you, cause I know you were going to try to buy it and I wanted it for myself" 🤣

I don't know anything about this species, but read something about them having 2 seminal receptacles in females. Not sure what that means exactly? but made me very curious so I took the risk and purchased 1 that I received Tuesday. Hopefully I'll be successful raising this tiny little fella. Once I've had it for a while I can try and give more info on how mine behaves and anything else that people may be curious about or want to know.

thanks! Please feel welcome to share. I am sure other people will get curious. We are in the front seats with those who are getting them now. All of you who just purchased some, will be able to share your experiences. I know im very curious and interested in hearing about it.

Yes, it's definitely me 🤣
Some species that are being brought in to Canada for the first time never even had the chance to be on their website lol

I know which vendor you’re referring to, and Martin was very kind and helpful to me when I emailed them shortly after I got a tarantula from them. I don’t live close to their shop, but they come through for the reptile shows, and I’m always looking up their inventory before a show in case I want to expand. I love them and their commitment to captive breeding, so they’re the ones I look to for future purchases.
