Anole compatability?

Green anole and green tree frog cohabitation is ONLY possible in large vivariums that can comfortably house both animals. Please NEVER attempt to cohabit anoles with tree frogs in anything smaller than a 20-gallon tank! Anoles are territorial and even something like a frog can elicit aggression in a small space.


Also, if the frog and anole appear to be active at a similar time, it may be advisable to feed them with tweezers to prevent conflict. Conflict is less likely to occur in tanks over 75 gallons.

(An additional warning. Cohabiting captive-bred reptiles/amphibians is safer than cohabiting anything with a pet of unknown or wild-caught origin.)
