I like the puff ball containers but I haven't used one yet. I have one made but I'm wondering a better way to secure the lid without placing an object over it.

I used to have 8 plus pretzel jars they all got tossed because I left them in the garage for storage. Excellent idea!!

win win win, tasty treats for you, a new home for spider, and recycling for the environment.

Most of the snacks I get are spicy, and I know capsaicin is toxic to at least certain arthropods.

Is it safe to use those snack containers after washing them out? Or will there always be enough chili powder microresidue left after washing them to harm the spiders book lungs or contaminate their prey/water or something?

And for anyone wondering, yes, eating foods drenched in hotsauce has made mosqitoes completely ignore me forever. :)

Right with you, I have some great plastics but what's in them- crushed red peppers, and chill powder
