You can't make it eat......and you still seem to think there is a problem...First learn the basics about scorpions....then ask questions.

They walk slow when moving normally (meaning it is not startled), this is not abnormal (most scorpions that live in humid forests on dark substrates move slow because they are not easily detected by predators, so why run and spend energy), AGAIN, a fat scorpion does not necessarily need to be big and fat.

Now stop panicing, it isn't dragging it's tail it shows active behaviour, it just did not eat for a while.....no problem, as it is KNOWN that these species fast for longer periods.

I agree with Michiel, you said he isn't dragging his tail which means you should be nowhere near ready enough to give up on him. Leave him be for the most part. Make sure he has water and just offer food once or twice a week. Maybe try food that is a little more active than a superworm, drop it in the tank near him and let it in for like 6-12 hours if it isn't eaten remove it and try again in like 3-5 days. Unless there is something seriously wrong which there is nothing evident from this thread so far that there is anything wrong at all besides a few environmental conditions which doesn't mean the scorpion is unhealthy especially if you've fixed them. I'd keep the light used for heating near his tank off more than on as long as the tank stays over 65 F. Try offering food and then turning the light out for a while, he may feel exposed while the light is on and that may be why he goes into "kill/defense" mode over "eat" Nothing is simple but keeping inverts is really easy to make more complicated than it actually is and though you haven't posted a recent picture I'd bet said scorpion would easily be able to go 6 more months without food without any detrimental effects.

thanks for raggin me out about scorpions, ive had them for years i know the difference between when theyre moving slow on a good day, and when theyre half dead...

not that half dead matters, since he was dead in his tank this morning.

Well, If you know it all so well, why are you asking questions here?
Sorry for you loss though.....although it didn't look sick, it was either a natural cause or something else....
