I had my emp do this last week, it was pretty funny. I think I spooked him by opening the tank lid, so he went looking for a hiding spot with half a cricket hanging out of his mouth (just like your photos).

Thanks. I missed the sting picture again. I will keep trying though. I think it is just awesome wacthing a cricket get stung

When I frist got my C vittatus colony and dumped in 3 dozen crix, I thought the crickets were piggy backing them :D turns out they are very small scorp with full sized cricket and were carryng them like that after paralyzing them, only they managed to have the crickets rest on thier back while holding with mouth parts. Weird stuff.

A cricket won't last but a few seconds to a few minutes after being dropped in with A bicolor. They just don't stand a chance. {D
