So, I picked up another A. metallica a few days ago, and after letting her settle in, I decided to feed her.
She was on the side of the enclosure, abdomen facing the ceiling, so I used the tongs and lightly brushed a cricket against her abdomen... Like lightning, she turned, grabbed the cricket, and launched herself toward the ground, landing square on her back and wrestling with the cricket.
Never seen anything so hysterical. I wasn't worried, since she was only an inch or two off the ground and the substrate is soft and fluffy.
Anyone else have any stories of lulzy feeding?
