Yeah of course. Messages are always welcome@Cecelias lair I don't know where in Europe, and I believe I can't say which spider shop in this part of the forum, although he does have an April classified ad and i think it is ok for me to private message you. Let me know.
Slings can be skittish but juvies/adults are very chill in my experience, very easy to care for, max out at a couple of inches. They are very pretty! And they are more laid back? Are they also hardy? I will have to research and see if I can find any for sale
Na, it's Neischnocolus sp. "Colombia" but for some reason the picture he's used is N. sp. "Panama"Spider Planet has slings of Neischnocolus sp. Panama
You're right, but reading the blurb it says they are "probably" the same species. I don't really know what to make of that!Na, it's Neischnocolus sp. "Colombia" but for some reason the picture he's used is N. sp. "Panama"
I'm afraid I'm a bit lost in our conversation@Cecelias lair it seems by you quite rare. There’s only handful that behave this way, and most are not in the hobby.
I did notice them in the spider shop and was wondering if they're a good alternative. They're quite pretty too . . .The Spider shop have homoeomma peruvianum in atm ment to be similar in temperament I got one Fizzgig is tiny made loads of tunnels close to the surface and loves her () food. Should check them out might still have some.
Not the same species. When I looked them up I was coming across the name "Neischnocolus panamanus during the search and I'm confused as some people were saying it's the same species and others were saying it wasn't. I just wanna make sure I don't buy another species by mistake lol
That's what I thought but I just wanted to checkNot the same species.
Neischnocolus sp. "Panama" is what used to be known as Ami sp. "Panama".
Neischnocolus panamanus is what used to be known as Ami bladesi.
I've been doing research and figuring out what I wanted my first taranula will be, I decided on a Homoeomma chilensis. This species ticked all the boxes for me (besides the price tag haha) but being in the UK, I've been finding it impossible to find them anywhere. Now my birthday is coming up in a couple of days so I'm deciding on an alternative to buy instead.
Things that appeals to me are their colours, their docile yet curious nature, being a slow grower and being a dwarf.
Do any other dwarf species compare? Or should I just go for a Aphonopelma or Grammostola?
which species are you referring to? H. Orellanai would be my best guess.Yes, there is a species that is IDENTICAL. Meets all the same criteria, superior to all species mentioned above.
Surprised no one mentioned it, I’ve owned it.
Or this- one of the few larger species that is similar to H. ch.
