Well, after keeping an Alipes sp. (feather tail centipede) for about 4 months or so, I finally heard it hiss!!!
SUPER DUPER COOL MAN!!!=D It kinda sounded like it was playing the maracas. LOL!
I was looking really close too and could see the tail movement as it stridulated. It actually makes the sound with each individual terminal leg, not by rubbing both terminal legs together. Woohoo!!!:}
