In their natural habitat, are A.gigas gregarious? Do they live with others most of the time, or is it more like they occasionally meet other A. gigas. In captivity, would they be "happier" with others or alone?

I have a trio (1 male and 2 females) and there always two that are together and one in the burrows. In nature millipedes are often found together.

I personally think keeping them in pairs or trios is better. At least two of mine are always near or on top of one another.
