There are some cool gullies and canyons close enough that I'd like driving to those and hiking around. Hadogenes would probably thrive around Lubbock if it didn't freeze there. See the terrain at the bottom left in this pic http://www.city-data.com/picfilesv/picv1424.php ...you kind of want to shoot for that in your set-up.

Thanks for the link! That's about 5-7 minutes from where I live, (thats right off FM 400 near Rustic Shooting Range). I love to cruise around the area in my birds, (68 400 and 98 ws6), and just enjoy the scenery. I also use to run up and down the roads near there for conditioning. But your right, I Hadogenes would thrive if it didn't freeze here, (a few days ago it was 27 and today it was 36).

My friend has had one of these for over ten years and it's only grown to about 2 1/2''. They must live forever.
