Advice on giant Malaysian blue scorpion

Need to know what people are using for substrate. I have read conflicting statements online. Some say coconut coir and some say mulch. I purchased the scorpion at an expo, it had mulch in the container. I want to start off on the right foot, your knowledge would be appreciated. Again it's a Giant Malaysian Blue Scorpion.

Coconut coir. That’s what mine is on and doing awesome. It holds humidity better imo.

Probably so because only H.spinifer and H.longimanus are in Malaysia. It's a rather incorrect and a misleading common name.

Yes Heterometrus Spinifer is correct
