Great Photos, search for Morten Hilmer on YouTube, he has very good videos. Have you ever tried sitting in a hide with bait in front of the hide (bait can be like a dead rabbit or something) you can get stunning photos that way!

Baiting is a very hot topic in the birding/raptor world and I am personally against it. I'd much rather see the birds hunt naturally.

Been slacking on actually going out looking for owls. April and I gave it a shot Monday at a local spot. She spotted the male within 5 mins of arrival.

Well...it's that time of the year again. Getting colder and leaves dropping making it a little easier to find owls! Hopefully this winter I'll get to photograph a lot of these raptors!

They are a pain to find but you get better at it as you practice and put in the time and miles. You'd be surprised by how many owls we walk by/don't see.

Amazing keep up the amazing work on these raptors pictures they look spectacular. I’ve not seen any birds of prey in a while here, no owls .
I’m sure there here , just no we’re I would ever see. Stealthy birds !
I do remember my grandpa (rip lost in 01)hating owls because he had pet rabbits that lived outdoors. I Never understood why some people dislike them. I do love nature shows too, seeing these birds of prey in action.
